Pre-Transfer Checklist

Pilots run a pre-flight checklist not because they don't know the procedure, but because even experienced people zone out on the thousandth repetition. On-chain transfers have the same property as takeoffs: irreversible, with consequences that far exceed the momentary effort to double-check. A checklist catches the mistakes you were sure you'd never make.

The order here is intentional. The first five items cover "did I send it somewhere wrong" — network, address, Memo/Tag. Get any of those wrong and the funds don't reach the intended destination. The middle items cover "did I send the wrong thing" — amount and fee. The last two cover the human layer: urgency is the universal signature of a scam, and knowing how to track the transfer afterwards eliminates most of the anxiety that follows.
