Short version: we have no interest in knowing who you are, and almost no means of finding out. No accounts, no cookies, no analytics. The checklist ticks you make stay in your browser and nowhere else. Full details below.
What we don't collect
Yidaozhang is a static website. The server does one thing: send HTML, CSS, and image files to your browser. Specifically:
- No accounts. There is no registration, no login, and no mechanism for you to submit personal information to this site.
- No personal data collection. There are no forms, comment sections, or newsletter sign-ups. We don't collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or device identifiers.
- No cookies. This site sets no cookies of any kind, which is why you've never seen a cookie consent banner here.
- No third-party analytics. No visitor tracking, no behaviour analytics, no advertising pixels. We have no visibility into which pages you visit and no plans to get any.
One honest caveat: like virtually every website, the hosting server produces standard access logs at the infrastructure level — IP address, timestamp, file requested. These are used for security and fault diagnosis only. They are not used to identify or track any individual, and they are overwritten on a rolling schedule.
Data stored in your browser
The Transfer Checklist saves your tick progress to your browser's localStorage. That data lives entirely on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere; we have no access to it. Clear your browser's site data to delete it. Switch devices or browsers and your progress won't follow — because there is no cloud copy.
Google Fonts (honest disclosure)
The web fonts used on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser makes a request to Google's servers to fetch the font files. That request includes your IP address and standard connection metadata, and it is governed by Google's own privacy policy. This is the only third-party resource request this site makes. If you'd prefer not to send that request, you can block font requests in your browser — it won't affect readability.
When you click a referral link
Referral links on this site go to Binance's website. Once you're on Binance's pages, Binance's privacy policy and cookie rules apply — not ours. We receive no personal information from that click. Our view from the Binance affiliate dashboard is anonymous aggregate numbers only; we cannot see who clicked.
Emails you send us
Email sent to [email protected] is used only to respond to and handle the specific matter you wrote about — corrections, partnerships, copyright. Your address won't be added to any list, shared, or sold. If a correction you flag gets published in the corrections log, we'll credit you by name only if you explicitly ask us to; otherwise only the substance of the correction is recorded.
Your right to deletion
Because we hold almost nothing, most deletion is in your own hands: clear browser site data for the checklist progress; block font requests to stop those. If you want us to delete a specific email exchange, send a note to that effect and we'll do it and confirm back to you.
Policy updates
If something changes — say, a new tool page introduces new local storage use — we'll update this page and change the date at the bottom. We have no channel to notify you, and that's by design: this privacy policy exists precisely to explain that there is no thread connecting this site back to you.
