Network Picker

This site contains Binance referral links (code BN3233). See full disclosure. This tool's suggestions are for guidance only — always verify that the recipient actually supports your chosen network before sending.

RECOMMENDATION · Network

Recommended: TRC20 (TRON)

When both sides support it, TRC20 is the default for USDT — low cost, arrives in minutes, widely accepted.

Before sending: confirm the recipient's deposit page actually lists this network as an option.

This tool handles the judgment call — it can't do the verification. Always check the first and last few characters of the address, and confirm the network label matches exactly. Before sending, run through the Transfer Checklist.

How this tool makes its recommendations (expand to read)

Every recommendation in this tool rests on one rule: use whatever network the recipient supports. All suggestions assume both ends support the recommended network — the tool's job is to identify the cheaper or more appropriate option when multiple valid choices exist.

For USDT transfers between two parties, TRC20 is the widespread default — low cost, quick arrival, and almost universally supported. If your destination is Ethereum DeFi or NFTs, ERC20 is the right call from the start and saves you a cross-chain trip later. For activity within the Binance ecosystem, BEP20 is the native network.

For BTC and ETH, the native network is the safest default — Bitcoin's network for BTC, Ethereum for ETH. Cheaper alternatives exist (Lightning for BTC, Arbitrum/Optimism for ETH), but only use them if you've confirmed the recipient explicitly supports them.

For "Other coin" there's no universal answer. Different tokens support different networks. The correct approach: open the recipient's deposit page, see what networks they list, then match the label on your sending platform exactly.

For the full reasoning behind these recommendations — fees, confirmation mechanics, what happens if you pick wrong — start with the network comparison guide. For a first withdrawal walkthrough from start to finish, the withdrawal guide covers every step.

Final reminder: on-chain transfers are irreversible. This tool and any guide are reference material — the final verification before each transfer is always yours to do.
